BI & analytics

Business intelligence that settles the argument before the meeting starts.

Most business intelligence and data analytics services deliver a wall of charts and leave you to work out what matters. Ours is opinionated about the decision it's meant to drive, built on data everyone in the room already trusts, with a first useful dashboard live in as little as 3 weeks.

Challenges we solve

The problems that bring
teams to us for business intelligence data analytics.

If any of these sound familiar, another chart isn't the fix — a properly built BI layer is. Here's how we approach it.

Reports built for compliance, not decisions

A beautiful monthly deck goes out on autopilot, and nobody's actually decided anything differently because of it.

Everyone has their own spreadsheet version of the truth

Finance's numbers don't match ops's numbers, and both are technically defensible.

A dashboard takes weeks to answer one new question

By the time the report reflects this quarter's priorities, the quarter's nearly over.

BI bolted onto a foundation that can't support it

The dashboard is only as good as the pipeline underneath it, and that pipeline was never built to scale.

The High Digital approach

Built to end the debate,
not extend it.

Most business intelligence and data analytics services hand you more charts and leave the arguing to you. Ours starts with the decision the dashboard needs to support, and is built on data solid enough that the room can spend its time on the decision, not the numbers.

Why it matters

The room should argue about the decision, not the data.

Most BI rollouts add another chart to a pile nobody fully trusts. Ours are built on governed data with one definition per metric, so when a number's on the screen, the conversation moves straight to what to do about it.

Built around the decision, not the org chart

We start with what leadership actually needs to decide, not a like-for-like copy of last year's report with a new logo.

One number, understood the same way by everyone

Every metric has a documented definition, so finance and ops finally argue about the decision, not the data.

BI backed by real data engineering

The dashboard is only as reliable as the pipeline underneath it — we build both, not just the front end.

AI-accelerated, senior-led build

AI-assisted tooling speeds up the build so senior analysts spend their time on what the numbers actually mean.

How we work

A working method, not a deck of phases.

01

Discover

We get into the detail. Stakeholders, constraints, data, and the real problem you're trying to solve.

02

Strategise

We sketch the smallest version that proves the outcome. A clear plan, a tight scope, no fluff.

03

Build

Cross-functional pods of engineers, designers, and data folk. Working software every week.

04

Scale

We harden it, instrument it, and stick around. Roadmaps, reviews, and a team that knows your stack.

Not sure if you need one dashboard or a full BI rollout? Ask the engineer who'd build it.

Book a 30-minute working session with a senior data engineer — a real conversation about your metrics, not a sales call.

The people behind the work
“The best dashboard I've seen didn't win on visual polish. It won because the room stopped arguing about whose number was right and started arguing about what to do next.”

FAQ

Questions, answered straight.

Business intelligence is the reporting and dashboard layer — what happened and why, presented so someone can act on it. Data analytics is the broader practice: the data analysis for business intelligence that a dashboard shows, plus the statistical and predictive work behind it. At larger scale this becomes big data and business intelligence work across many more sources. Most clients need both; we build the data foundation that supports either.
Whichever's already in your stack, most commonly Power BI, Tableau and Looker, plus the warehouse and pipeline layer underneath — Snowflake, BigQuery, dbt — that makes the dashboards reliable in the first place.
A first useful dashboard is typically live within 3 weeks of kickoff. A fuller rollout across multiple teams or metrics takes longer, depending on how much of the underlying data foundation already exists.
Cost depends on scope, but as a guide, a focused BI build for one team or one set of metrics typically starts from around £10k, scaling up for enterprise-wide rollouts or work that requires building the data pipeline from scratch. We fix the quote after a short discovery conversation.
Yes — we connect BI tools to your existing systems and warehouse rather than requiring a new one, and where the underlying data foundation needs work first, we can scope that as part of the same engagement.

Have an outcome in mind?
We'll help you
ship it.

  • You're building a data product and need a team that can deliver.
  • You want to get AI-ready — pragmatically, not theoretically.
  • Your reporting is a mess and you need a real platform underneath it.
